• K DValley is addressing the Climate protection and decarbonization challenges through a combination of strategies focusing on energy, circularity, and operational efficiency. Our automation machines are energy-efficient, with improved process controls. We have installed LED lighting in buildings. We have a plan to install Solar Panels in our factory premises. We are working on Waste heat recovery, Waste management, and Raw material optimization. We work with suppliers to identify and address sustainability investments, potentially leading to lower-carbon materials. We are working to develop a system to measure and track carbon emissions throughout the production process to identify "hotspots" and monitor progress.
• Our company emphasizes R&D for the manufacturing of ceramic and geopolymer building block materials, aligning with the standards of IGBC (Indian Green Building Council), GRIHA (Green Rating for Integrated Habitat Assessment), LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), and Green building standards.
• We innovate new technologies for recycling ceramic waste and manufacturing ceramic tiles and home decor items. Our innovative technology for manufacturing geopolymer concrete material reduces CO2 emissions by up to 80% compared to conventional technology.
Environment-friendly technology
• K DValley aims to transform fly ash wastes from energy enterprises, steel industries, and wastes from the agricultural sector of the Damodar River basin into valuable products and to minimize the challenge of environmental pollution and climate change by utilizing and recycling thermal power and steel industry-generated fly ash wastes into industrial by-products to avoid unnecessary landfills.
• Our service is to provide energy-efficient techniques for both ceramic and geopolymer material processing, followed by low-temperature sintering and ambient curing, respectively.
• K DValley has incorporated waste ceramics and post-industrial waste into the tile mix to reduce landfill contributions and conserve virgin resources. We use eco-friendly, sustainable materials for tile packaging to minimize waste. We invested in modern, energy-efficient equipment like advanced kilns and heat recovery systems to minimize energy wastage during production. Our company implemented closed-loop water recycling systems to reuse water multiple times in processes such as mixing, shaping, and cooling, significantly reducing overall water consumption. We use low-VOC Glazes: Use non-toxic, low-VOC (volatile organic compounds) glazes and finishes that are safe for the environment and human health. We avoid harmful chemicals in the glazes and finishes applied to tiles.

• K DValley follows the key safety measures, which include wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), such as masks, safety glasses for eye protection, gloves, and knee pads. We use proper ventilation and dust control systems.
• Our company has implemented safe work procedures for lifting and cutting, ensuring clean and well-lit work areas, and providing regular worker training on hazards and safety practices. We follow the safety procedures to avoid silica dust exposure, ergonomic risks, chemical exposure, cuts, and abrasions for workers. Our workers follow safe lifting techniques.
